Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OneLane: Weekly Clarity (“OneLane”, “we”, “our”) handles information. OneLane is developed by Rich Code Studio.

Plain-English summary: We do not operate servers for your personal app data. Your journal entries, lane selections, and preferences are stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your iCloud account managed by Apple. The only time text is sent to a third party is when you use the optional AI coaching feature.

1. Data Storage: On-Device + iCloud (Your Account)

OneLane stores your app data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud for OneLane, Apple may store and sync your app data using iCloud/CloudKit under your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud account.

2. AI Coaching (Optional)

OneLane includes an optional AI coaching feature. By default, when you use AI coaching, your text is sent to a stateless proxy endpoint hosted on Supabase Edge Functions, which forwards your request to OpenAI to generate a response. Alternatively, you can enable Privacy Mode in Settings to route AI requests to a local LLM server (such as LM Studio) running on your own device or network — in this case, no data leaves your device.

What is sent (cloud mode)

What is not sent

Personalization (Optional)

You may optionally enable prompt personalization in Settings (Privacy & AI). When enabled, a rolling summary of your last 3 days of Lane Notes (up to 500 characters per day, from the last 7 days) may be included in AI coaching prompts to tailor responses to your current focus.

We do not store AI coaching conversation content on our servers. Supabase's hosting infrastructure may generate operational logs (for example, timestamps, status codes, and error logs). We aim to minimize operational logging and we do not use logs for tracking, advertising, or profiling.

OpenAI processes the text you send to produce a response. OpenAI's policies govern how they handle API data. If you use Privacy Mode (local LLM), no third-party AI service is involved.

3. Purchases (Apple StoreKit)

Subscriptions and payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment information. Apple may provide us with receipt information required to validate your subscription status.

4. Diagnostics and Analytics

Apple may collect crash and performance diagnostics depending on your device settings. We may use these signals to improve stability and performance. We do not use diagnostics for advertising.

OneLane also records anonymous usage events (for example, which features are used) stored locally on your device. These are not tied to your identity and are not sent to external servers.

5. Third-Party Services

OneLane may involve the following third parties:

If you use Privacy Mode (local LLM via LM Studio), no third-party AI service is involved — all AI processing happens on your device or local network.

6. No Tracking / No Data Selling

7. Data Deletion

8. Children's Privacy

OneLane is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
